Platform Assessment
The Platform Assessment gives you a thorough overview of the current state of your Salesforce org. It's an ideal starting point for a new project, preparing for a migration, taking stock, or understanding the full potential of AI in your org. Within 5 to 10 business days after access is granted, you receive a comprehensive results report covering all relevant findings. Structured, prioritised, and written so that leadership, tech leads, and delivery teams can work with it directly.
Why start with an assessment?
Salesforce orgs evolve under real delivery pressure. Over time, structures and patterns accumulate that made sense when they were introduced but can eventually slow down scaling, migrations, or AI initiatives. A generic tool export can surface individual signals, but it rarely provides the context needed to make good decisions. Our assessment goes further: we look at your org as a whole, evaluate the patterns that matter, and make clear what needs attention now, what can wait, and where changes will have the greatest impact.

Platform Assessment
Using our purpose-built analysis framework, we systematically examine your org's metadata. We look at areas including architecture, data model, access controls, code, automation, DevOps, and AI-relevant structures. This lets us identify not just individual signals, but the structural patterns and dependencies that standard tools often miss.
Expert Review
We then filter and prioritise the findings. You receive a comprehensive assessment of what matters for the next phase of your platform. We distinguish between quick wins, larger clean-up efforts, and structural topics that should be considered in future initiatives.
Architect's Assessment
We turn the findings into a clear architectural view of your org. We show where your platform is already strong, where limitations or dependencies exist, and how well its current foundations support future AI initiatives. This is about more than whether individual AI features are technically available: we assess whether your org has the foundations needed for sustainable AI adoption.
Roadmap
We translate the findings into concrete recommendations. You receive a prioritised roadmap with clear next steps and an estimate of the effort involved. Your internal team or Salesforce partner can use it to take the recommendations forward independently.
Executive Walkthrough
In a 45–60 minute session, we walk through the findings together, discuss priorities, and answer questions from leadership and technical stakeholders. You get both the detail your team needs to act and the concise perspective decision-makers need to move forward.

All Modules at a Glance
During the Platform Assessment, we examine 15 topic areas, each forming its own module. These range from architecture and data modelling to automation, code, access controls, DevOps, and AI readiness. Each module includes its own checks and assessment categories, giving you more than a list of individual findings: a complete view of how mature and future-ready your Salesforce platform is. We bring the results together in a clear executive summary and a prioritised Action Plan.
Common questions
For the assessment, we read only the metadata relevant to the analysis in your Salesforce org. That includes, for example, your data model, code, automations, configuration, and aggregate statistics. Business records such as accounts, contacts, or opportunities are not read.
The one exception is the User Health module. For that, user data such as names, email addresses, or login activity can be evaluated. If you don't need this module, it can be excluded from the assessment entirely.
For a detailed overview of the data we use and the access it involves, see Trust & Data Protection.
We support Salesforce editions from Professional to Unlimited. Sandboxes and multi-org environments can be included in the assessment as well.
If you run a more complex Salesforce landscape, we agree the scope and the orgs to look at with you up front.
For the analysis, we set up controlled access to the metadata relevant to the assessment. Business records don't need to be made available for it.
Access is set up through an External Client App in your Salesforce org. Which permissions this needs, and how to set them up, we explain step by step under Trust & Data Protection.
No. Your Salesforce admin can usually set up the External Client App in about 30 minutes. We provide a step-by-step guide for it.
Developer resources are not required for the setup.
Once access is granted, you'll usually receive the full findings report within 5 to 10 business days.
How quickly the analysis can be completed depends on things like the size and complexity of your org and the agreed scope. We align on the exact process and next steps with you before we start.
The findings report is built so different roles can work with it directly. Leadership gets a concise summary of the overall state and the most important areas to act on. Architects and tech leads get a detailed, module-by-module analysis with the underlying findings.
For admins and developers, there is also a prioritised, filterable action plan. Individual findings can be sorted by module, priority, and effort, so your team or an implementation partner can start working through them right away.
The assessment is meant as a basis for deciding your next steps. You can discuss the results internally with your team, use them to plan a project, or hand them to your existing Salesforce partner for implementation.
The report contains prioritised recommendations and concrete next steps, so the findings become a roadmap you can act on. Which measures you carry out afterwards, and who takes them on, is entirely your decision.
AI can be helpful for analysing and summarising information. For a dependable assessment, though, it is essential that the underlying checks stay traceable and comparable from one point in time to the next.
Our analysis framework therefore works with deterministic, versioned checks. Every score and every finding can be traced back to concrete metadata patterns. That lets you understand why a rating comes about and re-measure changes at a later review.
The analysis gives you not just a summary of your org, but a reproducible basis for decisions and later comparisons. The results are then placed in architectural context and discussed together with you.
The Salesforce Health Check is a useful tool for day-to-day administration. It focuses, though, on evaluating security settings against a defined baseline.
Our assessment looks at your org far more broadly. We analyse, among other things, your data model, architecture, code, automation, DevOps, access model, and AI-relevant structures, examining more than 200 criteria in the process.
The decisive difference is not just the number of criteria checked. We put the individual findings in the context of your specific org, weigh their relevance, and derive prioritised recommendations from them. That turns a collection of technical observations into an overall picture of your platform and a concrete roadmap for the next steps.

The assessment is a standalone product. We don't implement the resulting measures ourselves, and we take no referral commission if you hand the implementation to another partner.
That keeps the results independent of whoever works on your org afterwards. The full report is yours and can be used by your internal team, your existing Salesforce partner, or another implementation partner.
No. The assessment doesn't automatically lead into an implementation project.
If you'd like, we can support you in interpreting the results and planning the next steps. The implementation itself, though, stays your decision. You can carry out the recommendations with your internal team or pass the report to your existing Salesforce partner or another provider.
Yes. If you run several Salesforce orgs, we can look at them together. That makes sense, for example, after a merger, when business units are being separated, or as part of an international rollout.
We can look at the state of the individual orgs as well as relevant differences and shared structural patterns. We tailor the scope to your specific landscape.
Yes. The full assessment covers all 15 modules and gives a comprehensive view of your platform. If you only want to examine certain questions, the scope can also be concentrated on selected topic areas.
That can make sense, for example, when you're preparing a specific migration project, want to assess the groundwork for an AI initiative, or want to examine architecture and automation patterns in a focused way.
Tailored to your org
This assessment is not a fixed, one-size-fits-all package. We assess your specific org and adapt the scope to its size, complexity, and your objectives.
What shapes the scope
- Org size and complexityThe number of active users and licences and the depth of customisation drive the analysis effort. That includes, for example, custom objects, Apex classes and triggers, Flows, or Visualforce.
- Number of orgsThe scope of the assessment also depends on whether we look at a single production org or analyse several production environments together. That can make sense after a merger, a split of business units, or as part of an international rollout.
- Assessment scopeDepending on your objective, you can choose the full assessment across all 15 modules or focus on selected topic areas.
- Integration landscapeThe integration landscape determines which systems we include in the analysis. We account for Connected Apps, Named Credentials, connected external systems, and the number of relevant sandboxes.
- Advisory follow-upOn request, we discuss the results together in further working sessions and prioritise the next steps in view of your roadmap, upcoming initiatives, or AI strategy.
A one-time baseline, and a clear foundation for what comes next: this assessment gives you a reliable starting point for evolving your Salesforce org.
